Meet Richard Menard

For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my career to expanding access to international education and helping colleges and universities create meaningful global opportunities for students. My career began at Texas Tech University and Miami University before taking me to USAC, Bowling Green State University, Gonzaga University, and the University of Oregon. Along the way, I have held leadership roles in study abroad, global engagement, and international development.

 

Throughout my career, I have built new programs, launched strategic initiatives, and developed partnerships that connect students, alumni, donors, and institutions across borders. Whether leading study abroad programs, directing a center for global engagement, strengthening international alumni communities, or building philanthropic support for global initiatives, I have remained focused on expanding opportunity and advancing the transformative power of international education.

Beyond my institutional roles, I consult with colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations on international education strategy, global engagement, alumni relations, advancement, leadership, and program development. I am especially passionate about helping institutions build sustainable international programs, strengthen global partnerships, and create pathways that make international experiences more accessible to students.
